Quality in Careers Standard

3rd January

We are delighted to inform you that Harris City Academy Crystal Palace has been reaccredited, by Investors in Careers, with the Quality in Careers Standard (QICS) for the second time. The academy are proud to have been recognised as providing outstanding Careers education, information, advice and guidance for all of our students.

The QICS framework assesses the quality of a school’s careers education through looking at four elements: commitment, organisation, delivery and evaluation.

Having held the QICS quality mark since 2011, the academy was challenged to demonstrate not just that we meet the rigorous criteria for the award, but that we have continued to innovate in our approach to Careers education. The report highlighted HCACP’s innovative approach to recruiting for student leadership positions, our valuable links with a wide variety of employers and universities, and our whole-staff commitment to careers education as particular areas of strength.

Congratulations to all of the students and staff involved.
