Our Think Investments work insights programme helps students to explore career opportunities, along with meeting over ten investment management employers.
Students will complete ten sessions with different employers across the programme, all delivered live on a video conferencing platform. They will learn about asset classes, who our clients are, how investment management helps to make the world a better place, and giving them first hand insight and support in navigating the recruitment process including psychometric tests and assessment centres.
When: Tuesday 16th, Wednesday 17th and Thursday 18th February from 9am – 1pm
Previous Think Investments students have said this about the programme:
“I feel much more confident with the knowledge gained from these sessions. It actually made me realise that you don't actually need to go to university to get into this industry. The only thing that matters is the willingness to learn.”
“Great and well-structured programme, with a good mix of learning about the investment industry, developing employability skills and networking. It's been a long time since I've felt so motivated.”
Think Investments and our other pre-entry programmes alumni have successfully applied for apprenticeships and Trainee positions at investment management firms such as Schroders, Barings, Vanguard, M&G, and many others!
Please read through the attached PowerPoint deck to find out more about the Think Investments.
Students need to be:
• In year 13
• Interested in progressing to work at the end of sixth form, or possibly still deciding between apprenticeships and university.
• Available to attend every day of the programme.
• Keen to network and be prepared to participate fully and ask questions.
There are only 50 places on the programme and places are allocated on a first come first served basis so please get students to apply quickly! The final deadline for applications is Friday 18 December but we will close applications as soon as the places are filled – which may be before 18 December.
Please note there are a number of pages to complete. None of the questions require much more than a tick box, make sure students give themselves 10 minutes to complete this fully. We cannot accept partially completed applications.
